Peterson Salt & Water Treatment in Hopkins, MN, a locally owned water treatment company, is looking for an energetic delivery driver to add to its sales team. Our drivers deliver 40, 50, and 80 LB bags of water softener salt to homes and businesses around the Minneapolis metro. Our drivers operate Peterson Salt company vehicles.
Work independently
Our drivers manage their own routes and get to be in charge of their daily schedules. Drivers start at 7am and their day ends when the route is complete, typically around 3pm-5pm. Extra shifts are also available on Saturdays for drivers looking for more hours.
Build a sales portfolio
Looking for sales experience? Our delivery jobs are the perfect opportunity to have face-to-face interactions with the customers we service to build lasting relationships. Drivers who actively pursue sales leads will be rewarded with incentives and bonuses.
Who we hire
We look for drivers who are self-starters, enjoy a physical job, are reliable and enjoy talking to customers and following up on new sales leads. If you have a degree in any of the following areas, your skill set is a good match for this job: mechanics, sales, engineering, business
Required skills
- Ability to read maps and following driving directions
- Must pass DOT physical with 14 days of hire
- Safe driving record
- Valid class D license
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of Twin Cites metro area and surrounding suburbs
- Physically fit, able to lift up to 100LBs
