“I called for water softener information and got a quote on the phone. There was no sales pressure. They gave me plenty of information about the brand of softeners they provide and the benefits of a good softener vs. one from a big box store. The installation went smoothly. They removed an old, broken softener, fixed up the plumbing and installed the new one. They also brought in the salt and filled it for me which was nice. I am writing this several months later and enjoying the soft water. Much better than we had in the past with either of our two previous softeners. Overall a very good experience.”

“My water softener installation was scheduled for 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Peterson Salt’s installer arrived at 10:00 a.m., got right to work, and was finished a little after 11:00 a.m. He also took out the old unit, cleaned the work area and delivered 6 bags of salt. He was gone by 11:30 a.m. The unit works great and the installation was efficient and professional–I couldn’t have asked for more!”

“I had two companies come out to look at a leaking water softener. The first company spent five minutes looking at the softener unit and said I needed a new one, then charged me $94.
Tom, the owner at Peterson Salt and Water Treatment, took a half hour exploring all the possibilities of repair. He explained everything he was doing, and concluded that he would attempt to replace a part on the softener to see if that resolved the issue. I was not charged for this visit.
I really appreciated that Tom took time to explore any cheaper alternatives before replacing the whole unit. He also quoted me a much more competitive price to replace the water softener than the others! Marc, one of Tom’s employees, came a day earlier than promised to remove the old unit and install the new unit, and he was great in every way.
This was one of the best–if not the best service experience–I’ve ever had.”

“Marc came out and replaced our water softener with a new Fleck model, then re-routed some of the existing plumbing for a better fit. He stayed longer than planned to make sure it was finished correctly, but didn’t charge any extra for the time put in, and he cleaned up after himself.
Tom Peterson answered all our questions and did not pressure us into buying or upgrading at all. We chose to go with a little larger model on our own, just to have it cycle less often. Overall, we were very happy with the installation and are glad to have soft water again!”
